2013 News!

Hello everyone!  Everything is going well at WCWW this spring.  Last Fall the Fryeburg Fair went great and work is coming in steadily.  We are getting ready for the Newfield Farmer & Artisan Market which opens May 25th.  Stop in and say hi!  I won't be there June 1st or June 8th but then should be around most saturdays.  We will have a display up at the Gorham Savings Bank branch in Falmouth on Rt 1 in August and will of course be in Fryeburg again this fall.  Oh, and I do not have the dark green F250 pickup anymore.  We invested in a 2013 silver F250 Crew Cab pickup and have a cap for it too!  It will make deliveries and installations way easier in the coming years.  Thank you all for the support over the years and come visit soon!  Chris

2011 UPDATE!!!

Well, I'm still here! The last year has been a challenge and struggle for our family, with layoffs and cancer being the biggies, but we have powered through with the love of God and super supportive friends and family. Thank you all for your support! So, despite me still being in treatment through November, I am beginning to get caught up on work that is 6 months old and getting some new stuff in the pipeline! It felt so good to get back in my shop after 3 months of not setting foot in there. Wow. I will try and get some new pictures up here soon. You can also find Wild Cherry Woodworks on FaceBook too. Many places to see what I am building! Take care everyone and thanks again for the support!! Chris

Many pieces have been created since my last post and I have added a lathe to my shop. I now can turn bowls and can offer turned legs and accents to pieces as requested. Pictures of some bowls will be added soon.

Here are two matched cabinets for TV and stereo components and a plasma TV on top. We did the stained glass as well in the doors. The cabinets are cherry from the northern Maine woods.

Caliper boxes

These are boxes I made for some ammunition handloaders to store their tools in. Cherry with tiger maple panels and laser engraved viking skull logo from the .50 Beowulf forum. Any size could be done to hold most anything. Lasering can be done or not, with whatever you want!

Spatulas are available for kitchen use in long or regular handle lengths. Rice spoons are available with regular short handle or long handle for stirring stews.
